Winnipeg acquires Coleman from Edmonton for Amos

06/15/2009 - Winnipeg, MB (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have acquired offensive lineman Thaddeus Coleman from the Edmonton Eskimos in exchange for defensive back Willie Amos.

Coleman signed with the Eskimos in September, 2008 and spent the season on their practice roster.

"He's a guy that has the potential to provide depth at that position," said head coach Mike Kelly. "He has been able to play both left and right tackle."

Amos recorded 52 defensive tackles in 11 games for the Bombers last season. He also led the team with seven passes defensed.
